Visit Seattle through our Photos
Seattle is a seaport city on the West Coast of the United States. This is the largest city of Washington state and the Pacific Northwest region. The city is known as the Emerald City. The area has great locations for photography. There are the typical tourist sites to take photos like the Public Market. The view from the Space Needle provides great city views. Ballard Locks offers views of privately owned vessels. Plus, there is even an area where you can view the fish swimming upstream.
Mount Rainier is visible in the distance from the city. It is about 59 miles from the downtown area. The drive there becomes scenic as you get closer to the mountain. There are many areas for checking out the landscape along the way The visitor center at the park has a great view of the mountain. Reflection Lake is another vantage point for images.
This is close to the visitor center, yet not too many people were there.
Olympic National Park sits about 100 to 150 miles from Seattle. The park is in the Olympic Peninsula. Olympic National Park offers glaciers, rain forest and the coastline. Quite the mixed bag of locales! To get to the park from Seattle, you will need go on a ferry ride. Our journey took us to La Push beach. On that day, the beach area was very foggy.
The drive there had many spots to stop and enjoy the view. This area was wonderful place to visit.
The time spent there was enjoyable. The Seattle area needs to be revisited by us. There are many more sites we need to explore. The two national parks we visited have many more areas we need to see! There are some images that look similar. Just wanted to add them for their slightly different perspective. Going over this set of photos I discovered many images I have not looked at since we took this trip. Hopefully, you can enjoy this as much as we did.
